Shipping & Returns

The Birdy Toy Box offers a Flat Rate shipping fee for Canada Post Parcel Service. The cost for shipping will be based on your location within Canada. The average delivery in Ontario for Expedited Parcel Service is 1-3 business days* and 4-7 business days for all other provinces. A business day is Monday-Friday, excluding Holidays and does not include the actual day of mailing.

Flat Rate Shipping Locations:

$10.00 - Ontario
$11.00 - Quebec
$14.00 - Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island & New Brunswick
$15.00 - British Columbia, Alberta & Newfoundland

As always, orders over $75.00 CAD before taxes will ship at no charge.

We also offer flat rate shipping to the U.S.A. at a flat rate of $22.00CAD. For large packages over 12" x 12" x 12" and weighing over 5lbs the flat rate shipping fee is $35.00CAD
(Customs charges, if any, will be the responsibility of the purchaser)

Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut - Actual shipping charges will apply. Please email your order to rosalyn@birdytoybox.com and we will advise of shipping costs.

If you live in an Air Stage location such as the Northwest Territories, actual shipping charges will apply. We will email you with the shipping charges prior to shipping.

The shipping standards for expedited parcel are as follows:

Local 2 business days*
Regional 2 to 4 business days*
National 4 to 7 business days*

Some of toys from The Birdy Toy Box are hand made when ordered, please allow 24 hours for us to get your order together and have shipped. If orders are received before 12:00 noon (EST) we will do our best to have shipped the next business day, but sometimes delays are inevitable.

Canada - The Birdy Toy Box's preferred method of shipping is Canada Post expedited parcel. If there is a disruption within the Postal Service, we will continue to ship using a different service. Changes in delivery charges may apply.

International Orders and U.S. - On all orders outside of Canada there may be a possibility of customs clearance charges. These charges will be the responsibility of the purchaser. The Birdy Toy Box will not cover such charges.

For international orders please e-mail rosalyn@birdytoybox.com for quote. Please provide your full address, including postal code, along with your order.

Errors on information - The Birdy Toy Box will take no responsibility for errors when delivery or billing information is entered by the purchaser. Should there be a charge imposed due to your error, we will forward the charges to you. The Birdy Toy Box will contact you by email with regards to any and all imposed charges related to your purchase. We will not process any charges without your knowledge and authorization.

We will not take responsibility for any charges or penalties imposed upon you by PayPal.

Lost or damaged parcels - Please be advised The Nestling Haven will not make a claim to Canada Post on your behalf. If you do not receive your package, or if it is damaged, please contact Canada Post directly.

Guarantee - If you are not completely satisfied with the quality of your purchase, please return the merchandise within 7 days of your delivery date for a replacement or refund. All items must be in their original package and unopened. Once we have received your return we will process your refund, or replacement. Any shipping charges incurred for returns are the responsibility or the purchaser, unless arrangements have been made with The Birdy Toy Box. All returns must have a return code. Please e-mail rosalyn@birdytoybox.com to receive this code. Provide your name, address, order number, items being returned and reason for return. We will provide you with a return code to include with your merchandise. We WILL NOT accept returns of opened packages. Due to the health and safety of other birds, any returned items are not re-used.
